A few weeks ago two of our nieces celebrated their first birthdays together at a big family celebration. The girls are only a few weeks apart and it was nice to be able to have most of the family and friends together for a great celebration. The weather was great, and it was a great day had by all. Plus it was nice for everyone to be able to see Steve and Katie's new house for the first time. Baby Kai I think really enjoyed spending time with his cousins who are only one and two months older than him. It was funny watching him watch them. He up to the point of the party was only doing the military crawl and since the party has moved onto crawling on his hands and knees and his pulling up to a standing position often. It is only a matter of time before he begins taking steps! Enjoying cousin Lily and cousin Kaina's birthdays made us realize how quickly the year has gone and we cannot believe that our little guy will soon by one years old too! Enjoy the photos and look forward to many more celebrations together!

Hi! I found your blog by googling double birthday party. My daughter will be 2 in July and my very dear friend (who is also my daughters God-Mother) has a son that will be one in July. We are planning a joint party and I am curious how you handled invitations and everything else for that matter. My friend doesnt really have an opinion on the invites and is happy we offered to have the party at our home. We have a good size backyard and a pool for our guests to enjoy. Just not sure if you have any clever ideas you can offer me. Thanks!! And I will keep praying for your family as well!!
