We have been encouraging Kale to learn how to prepare food in the kitchen so for St. Patrick’s Day I thought it would be cute if he learned how to make rice crispy treats. Of course we added green food dye to make them festive as well. He really enjoyed the whole process until it was time to add the green dye when he had a complete melt down because he wanted to make “blue ones instead of green ones.” Lucky for us his Auntie Diane was going to soon be having a baby shower so we were able to convince him to let us make green ones for St. Patrick’s Day and the blues one for the baby shower! Notice the picture of Baby Kai trying to get into the process as well! It will not be much longer before we will have to have a second step ladder in the kitchen for baking days!
