On Good Friday we decided to let Kale decorate his Easter Eggs. It was a brand new experience for him since the last few years he really was not old enough to understand so this was the first time we have done this. Baby Kai totally did not understand what was happening and you could tell from the look on his face he just didn't understand why we would not let him play with the eggs. On the other hand, Kale had a total blast and as soon as the egg was in the colored water he wanted to take it out and move on to the next egg. He didn't understand why we had to wait a few moments before taking the egg out. In the end the three dozen eggs turned out great and Kale loved playing with the colored water and the eggs! The joy in little moments like this really makes being a parent great!
