On April 25th, we attended our friend's Tonya's church picnic festival in Arroyo Grande. It was a large church celebration. They had 7 bounce houses, a playground, BBQ, live music, a puppet show, and so much more. It was so much fun spending time together with Tonya, meeting some of her fellow church members, running in to people that we know too, and just having fun together in fellowship and worship! The boys had so much fun as they both love being outside! Kale ran around like a mad man playing on all of the different bounce houses. Baby Kai was not sure what to make of the different bounce houses and therefore spent most of his time hanging out with his parents or Tonya on the picnic blankets. One of the bounce houses was a running track where the contestants race against each other but must also wear bungee ropes. Kevin and I ran against each other and of course Kevin won! It was hard let me tell you! (Kale took the photos of Kevin and I racing so that is why they are a bit off centered!) The other big event that day was that Baby Kai starting standing all by himself! Of course notice that there are no photos of the big event! Each time we would get the camera ready he would not do it! So you will just have to wait for the evidence! All together is was a wonderful day and we are so thankful for our friend Tonya for inviting us to this celebration!
